"CREATING A BRIDGE FOR THE FUTURE"

i can't find the exact word to define my experience yesterday. After a rushing, struggle, re-scheduling our project then yesterday it was finally granted. The project entitled“Creating a Bridge for the Future” at Dar Amanah Orphanage, Barangay Hoyo, Silang, Cavite Philippines

Dar Amanah Children's Village Foundation, Inc. (DACVFI). Is a non-stock, non-profit institution committed to provide temporary residential care to Muslim orphaned children. Founded in 2003, DACVFI was registered as a Social Welfare Agency of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and as NKP Elementary School registered under Department of Education (DepEd) in 2005. DACVFI was also registered at the office of Muslim Affairs of Region IV.

The activity has an objective of reaching out and eliminating the stereotyping of Christian with the Muslims. As student leaders we are exemplifying the Benildian core value by being socially responsible and appreciative of individual. By becoming sensitive to the issue of our society we can help in creating the bridge of everybody’s future. I was touch on how the way they welcome us!!!

We help them by giving school supplies,food supplement and food for their lunch. Although it was less they share each other.

They are Muslim but they accept with sincerity in their heart. This activity help me to realize that no matter what our religion is still we had the same goal that is to praise HIM, worship and thank HIM for all the blessing that HE given us. Let us help this children to feel that they are not outcast.
